The Telluride Memorial Garden, located on the river trail just East of the Town Park entrance and South of Hemlock Street, is a dedicated place in Telluride that is accessible to everyone, for memorializing, honoring, and remembering those we have lost in our community. The garden will include interactive elements to provide comfort and promote presence in the grieving process. Implementation of these elements will happen in phases throughout 2025 and 2026. Stay tuned for more updates!

Telluride is a community that experiences both joy and grief at an intense level because of the deep ways we are connected to each other in our small town. We work hard, play hard, and love hard, and we now have a place in Telluride where love in the form of grief and sadness can be encouraged, accepted, honored, and recognized as a normal part of life. The Telluride Memorial Garden provides an opportunity for all members of our community, regardless of background or beliefs, to have a purposeful place to connect with those who are no longer with us. Through this, we will also become more connected as a community. Please reach out to Megan at m.wise@tchnetwork.org with any questions, or if you would like to support this project!
