Community Programs Navigator (Bilingual, FT)

Direct Supervision: Care Coordination Manager

Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Overview

The Community Programs Navigator is a bilingual professional (English/Spanish) trained to
empower, engage, organize, and support community members who need assistance with navigating
health insurance, SNAP, and other resource programs. This role supports initiatives such as New
Eyes, Connect for Health, Colorado Connect, and other programs that address the social
determinants of health. The Navigator’s goal is to raise awareness of available resources and
eliminate barriers to support and services in San Miguel, West End Montrose, and Ouray,l Counties
by collaborating with community partners and stakeholders

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting salary range is $24.00 – $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.

The Shed Staff Member (PT)

Direct Supervision: The Shed Supervisor

Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time

About the Shed:

The Shed is a safe, welcoming hangout space for teens to relax, connect, and be themselves. We offer games, snacks, music, and programs designed to support teen development, creativity, and community. We’re looking for friendly, responsible, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and help create a positive environment for our teens.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with teens in a respectful, inclusive way
  • Monitor activities to ensure a safe and positive atmosphere
  • Build relationships with teens and serve as a positive role model
  • Assist with setup, cleanup, and general maintenance of the space
  • Support and lead games, activities, or workshops (training provided)
  • Address conflicts calmly and refer issues to leadership when needed
  • Follow all safety, behavioral, and emergency procedures
  • Provide input on teen interests, events, or improvements for the space

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting wage $22 per hour
  • 12 paid holidays
  • Accrued vacation based on hours worked
  • Up to 48 hours of sick pay with accrual based on hours worked
  • Up to 3.5% employer match in 401k program
